Peregrine Stars

  Today was 3 Aj—a Tuesday with the Moon squaring the Lord of the Day: Mars. And (in hindsight) somewhat appropriately, the vicissitudes of the day would not let me get to the things I had meant to get to in a timely fashion. We’re still getting it done but everything is taking longer. I’m reading that 3 days are incomplete, and that Aj/Ben, while tied to 3 is somewhat unstable because of it. At best this is a day to be a master of the domestic sphere, so maybe my actions were misplaced out there in the public world. What can you do—gotta punch in on time It was just generally sort of off kilter. Did not sleep well, woke up a lot earlier than usual. I had this strange dream that I was wandering around some kind of school/hotel that was totally foreign and yet utterly familiar in the way dream environments are.   One foot in front of the other. Today is 2 E/Eb, so it’s a good day for taking the next step on the path. Or conversely a day which may pull in two different directions. We’ll find out!   It’s a Monday, a day for nurturing and tending, and the last New Moon of 2024, and today being the 30th of December, it’s a Capricorn New Moon. So I suppose the agenda for the day is carrying through some of the initial seed energy woven by 1 B’atz/Chuen yesterday, and today taking the next step on the road to the new year: really beginning to lay solid, down to earth, well thought out plans.   On that tack we started the day digging a bit into our new Magic of I planners (recommended to me by the living breathing walking talking and loud as fuck Venus talisman Rosie Cutter) and beginning to begin planning, a thing we’re (meaning I in this instance) not really used to.   Don’t you love it when it all lines up? Today is 1 B’atz, which according to my understanding is the first day of the cholq’ij. It’s also a Sunday—the Lord’s day—the first day of the week. The Sun is in Poiel’s quinance of Jupiter’s decan of Capricorn (the First), and Jupiter is in Gemini. All that to say—isn’t this a great day to begin writing about these sort of things? I’ve been meaning to for a while, and people have certainly been bugging me to do it—but it has only recently lined up that I have become able to. (I got my Dad’s old laptop!) So I suppose the theme of today is beginnings. And that starts with endings. These are the last three days of 2024—which has been a year for the books. I achieved a major life’s ambition of mine this year: I got myself to Egypt. I’ll have to get into that another time, but that was definitely the end of something and the beginning of something.
